WikiForHumanRights Campaigns
This series of translate-a-thons, photowalks, and talks will be part of the #WikiForHumanRights22. An iteration of last year’s Wiki para sa Karapatan Pantawo 2021, this project aims to translate to Tagalog and Central Bikol high-quality English Wikipedia articles that tackle climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution. This is to increase articles that allow access to neutral, fact-based, and current information about our Right to Healthy Environment. Community visits and photo walks will also be conducted to document environmental issues that are faced by the local community. Lastly, this project aims to improve the accuracy of Bikol Translation Tool by polishing all Bikol translations produced during Wiki para sa Karapatan Pantawo 2021 – 2022 campaign period.
